Meet Dr. Seth Fox

Dr. Fox grew up in Ford City, PA and graduated from Ford City Junior/Senior Highschool.  He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science at Grove City College.  He received his Doctorate in 2011 from LECOM in Erie, PA.  LECOM was also where he completed his internship and ophthalmology residency from 2011-2015. He served as Chief resident in his final year of training.  During his residency, Dr. Fox also achieved a Master of Science in medical education.

After residency, Dr. Fox completed a Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery with Dr. Francis W. Price, Jr., a world-renowned cornea specialist and pioneer in cornea transplantation.  During this time, Dr. Fox received training in a form of partial corneal transplantation for a disorder known as Fuchs dystrophy, in addition to other cutting-edge surgical techniques.

After fellowship, Dr. Fox has worked in Erie and Pittsburgh and was involved in teaching students and residents.  He then chose to continue the entrepreneurial spirit of his parents with the founding of Fox Ophthalmology Associates in Indiana, PA.

Dr. Fox is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a specialty in corneal procedures and an elected fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology.  He also treats comprehensive ophthalmology conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma.  He is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society, Cornea Society, and the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Fox is married and has two children.  He and his wife grew up in towns outside of Pittsburgh and have a deep love for Western Pennsylvania and the people who live here.
